Andrew Gower @ London Film & Comic Con

After it had to be post-poned three times (after the original date of July 2020, November 2020, July 2021) due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Showmaster’s London Film & Comic Con finally took place at Olympia London from 19 – 21 November 2021.

Andrew Gower, who had originally been announced as a guest on 21 December 2019, was able to attend the convention on Saturday, 20 November 2021 to meet his fans, sign autographs and take pictures with them.

You can find some pictures from the event in our Gallery.

Did you have the chance to meet him? At a convention, at the stage door or another event? Let us know! We’d love to hear your stories and see your pictures!

London Film & Comic Con Postponed to November 2021

After the government’s decision to delay the date for easing current Corona lockdown restrictions in the UK by a month, Showmasters had to postpone their main event London Film & Comic Con for a third time.

The event will now take place from 19 – 21 November 2021 at Olympia London.

Andrew Gower was announced as a guest for the convention in December 2019 for its originally scheduled date in July 2020 before the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic made large gatherings impossible. He was re-confirmed as a guest when the event was moved to a date in November 2020 but not since then.

However, he is still listed on the London Film & Comic Con Official website as a guest, which – according to a previous statement by Showmasters – means he hasn’t cancelled his appearance. Please be aware that he will only be there for one day on Saturday.

Currently also attending are his former co-stars Amanda Abbington and Sacha Dhawan (Being Human), Riz Ahmed (Out of Darkness) and Carnival Row‘s Simon McBurney as well as a number of other actors from film and TV.

Showmasters were able to release a limited amount of entry tickets for Saturday again after they had sold out. Photo op tickets (£20) for Andrew are also available on the website. Autograph tickets (£20) can be purchased at the event itself.

Tickets already purchased will automatically roll over to the new dates. If you can’t make them or have further questions regarding your tickets, please contact Showmasters directly.

For general questions about conventions, we’re happy to help you if you drop us an e-mail or leave a comment on our social media (Twitter, Instagram or Facebook).

ETA (06 July 2021):

Andrew is now a re-confirmed guest and will attend London Film & Comic Con on Saturday, 20 November 2021. This will be your unique chance to wish him a (slightly belated) happy birthday!

LFCC Postponed to July 2021

It doesn’t come with a surprise but it is still sad news: Showmasters announced that the London Film and Comic Con will be postponed to 23 – 25 July 2021.

If you’ve already purchased a ticket for this year’s event from 20 – 22 November 2020 (previously 24 – 26 July 2020), your tickets will remain valid for the new July 2021 dates so there is no further action needed to be taken on your part. If you cannot make the new dates, please e-mail Showmasters to receive a digital voucher that can be used at any Showmasters event, any time up to two years of issue.

Currently there is no information on guests attending the event, so at this time we don’t know whether Andrew Gower will be able to be at the event in July 2021 but we’re keeping our fingers crossed 🤞 and will update you as soon and when we find out more.

Stay safe and stay healthy! 😷

As was to be expected, Showmaster’s London Film & Comic Con (LFCC) had to take the difficult decision to postpone their main convention event this summer due to the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

The event will now take place from 20 – 22 November 2020 at Olympia London.

Andrew Gower has already been re-confirmed as a guest (attending Saturday only!), as well as fellow Carnival Row actor Simon McBurney (Runyan Millworthy), Sacha Dhawan (Being Human‘s Pete) and Riz Ahmed (Out of Darkness) with more announcements expected soon.

If you already have a ticket for the event, this will be automatically transferred to the new date. If you can’t attend the event on the new dates, please e-mail Showmasters to receive a voucher which will be good to use for any future Showmasters events up until the day after LFCC 2021 (26 July 2021). At that point, you can request a full refund, should you have not been able to use your voucher.

Tickets sales will be available shortly again for the event and photo op tickets (£20) for Andrew. Autograph tickets (£20) can be purchased at the event itself.

Don’t miss this opportunity for all Miss Scarlet and The Duke, Carnival Row, Poldark, Outlander and Being Human fans to meet Andrew, the man behind Rupert Parker, Ezra Spurnrose, James Hadfield, Bonnie Prince Charlie and Cutler… Nick Cutler.

Andrew Gower on Finding Bonnie Prince Charlie’s Voice

Andrew Gower answered a fan question during his solo panel at the Official Outlander Convention by Creation Events in New Jersey (USA) on Sunday, 19 August 2018.

Andrew Gower played Prince Charles Edward Stuart aka Bonnie Prince Charlie during Outlander‘s Season 2 and 3. His portrayal became (in)famous for the repeated use of the catchphrase “Mark me”.
