IndieWire reported the “surprising news” (according to Rachael New and Kate Phillips) in their article and they conclude:
It’s part of the fun that is Miss Scarlet and the Duke, a show that can comprise mystery, murder, romance, and the fun of discussing relationships. According to Gold Derby, Amazon Prime have listed their submissions for their comedy, drama and limited series in the run for an Emmy Award. Among the submitted titles and names are Carnival Row (in the Drama Series category) and Andrew Gower as Supporting Actor.
Of course, a submission is far from a nomination (or a win) but it’s an important first step and we are more than happy and proud to read Andrew’s name in the company of all these other distinguished talents.
