Watch Andrew Gower Play in Charity Football Match

Andrew Gower will be back on the football field!

Three years after he joined the charity football match organized by Ross Owen, he’ll be again part of the Allstars vs Legends game on Sunday, 31 July 2022 in Airdrie, Scotland (UK).

Join us on a fun day out at Airdrie stadium for our pro celebrity charity football match on Sunday 31st July 2022 in conjunction with North Lanarkshire Suicide Prevention and Airdrie Community Trust. A plethora of football legends and celebrities from TV and sport will battle it out on the pitch for the community cup. Kick off is at 1pm with pre-match entertainment from 11.30am.

Adults (16 and over) £8.
Kids (under 16) £4.
Kids under 5 go free.

Andrew Gower announced for Outlander Convention in Glasgow

After some unfortunate cancellations, Andrew Gower was announced as a bonus guest for The Highlanders 5, the Outlander convention taking place next weekend (1 – 3 July 2022) at the Hilton Hotel (1 William Street) in Glasgow, Scotland (UK).

For Andrew Gower this will be the perfect opportunity to present “The Jacaranda”, the first single of his EP “The Jacaranda” with his band Gustaffson, which is set to be released on 1 July 2022.

Ticket sales end on Friday, 24 June 2022. If you already have ticket for the convention, you can still purchase photo ops and autographs at the event.

Other confirmed guests are: Sam Heughan, Richard Rankin, Duncan Lacroix, Sophie Skelton, David Berry, Alexander Vlahos and Paul Gorman.

Outlander’s Andrew Gower Returns to the Role of Bonnie Prince Charlie

Town & Country interviewed Andrew Gower briefly at the Outlander Season 6 premiere event in London about his #BonnieComeback:

“When I left the character, it was 4 years ago, 5 years ago so I did the research on what happened [to Bonnie Prince Charlie]. Spending time as an outcast in Scotland for the prince was never his idea, so when you do meet him this season he’s not in a particularly good shape of mind. But there’s plenty of lovely fairy tales, stories that the MacKinnon family wrote about him when he was hiding up near Skye in Scotland so I read all of them.”

Asked whether it was difficult to step back into the Prince’s shoes, Andrew Gower replied:

“It feel like wearing an old glove again, getting back into the character.”

What a #BonnieComeback!

Andrew Gower attended the Outlander Season 6 premiere event in London tonight and we’re thrilled to share some pictures and videos with you from the event.

You can watch the entire red carpet on the Outlander Facebook page. Andrew appears at time stamp 38:23 giving a short interview teasing his return as Bonnie Prince Charlie and wearing an “even more ridiculous outfit” than the “human shortbread” one he’s worn before.

Outlander S6 World Premiere Event

Calling all Outlander fans!

StarzPlayUK are hosting an exclusive red carpet event for world premiere of S6 of their hit TV show Outlander at the Royal Festival Hall (Southbank Centre, Belvedere Rd, London SE1 8XX) on Thursday, 24 February 2022.

Tickets are free but you will have to be quick to snag one up when registration opens as a special Valentine’s gift on Monday, 14 February 2022 at 10:00 am (GMT). For more information click to this link (this is also where you’ll register for tickets on Monday).

For the first time ever in London, “Outlander” fans can enjoy the newest season at the red carpet premiere event filled with the series stars and accompanied by the Philharmonia Orchestra and Philharmonia Chorus Choir. The screening will be followed by a live and virtual panel with cast and executive producers.

Out of Darkness ShortsTV India Screening

According to Mango Films, short film Out of Darkness will have a special screening on Shorts TV India from 9 January 2022 followed by interviews with the creator Manjinder Virk (Monroe, The Giant Pacific Octopus Maritime School) and the cast, including Andrew Gower.
