Murdoch Mysteries 6×04 “A Study in Sherlock”
Detective William Murdoch (Yannick Bisson) and Constable Crabtree (Jonny Harris) are called to a crime scene in the streets of 19th century Toronto (Canada) where a vehicle transporting bank safe deposit boxes was robbed and a man killed. A witness to the attack provides Murdoch with some useful information and introduces himself as the Great Detective, Sherlock Holmes (Andrew Gower).
According to Mr Holmes’ deduction none other than his old foe Professor Moriarty and his henchmen are the culprits behind the robbery. While Detective Murdoch and his team investigate further, psychiatrist Dr Julia Ogden’s (Hélène Joy) abilities are put to a test as she tries to break the young man’s delusion who not only claims to be Sherlock Holmes but also shows the same uncanny ability of assessing people and situations correctly.
Can a meeting with the creator of this fictional character, famous author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (Geraint Wyn Davies), shed some light on Sherlock’s true identity and his connection to the crime?
