Andrew Gower‘s band Gustaffson celebrate the launch of their first album “Black & White Movie” at the legendary Bush Hall in West London on Wednesday, 14 May 2025.
The evening will feature exclusive screenings of original Gustaffson films, and some exciting surprise guests (to be revealed soon).
Popular Outlander podcast “Droughtlander Diaries”, hosted by fans and content creators Jess and Sarah, invited Andrew Gower to one of their episodes to his latest music project featuring composer Bear McCreary on the new Gustaffson track “Flowers”.
We’re excited to bring a cast member from earlier seasons to chat with us this week. In this episode, Andrew Gower, who you’ll know as Bonnie Prince Charlie in Outlander, shares his journey as an actor and musician. He discusses his early influences, the formation of his band Gustaffson, and his collaboration with renowned composer Bear McCreary. Andrew shares with us his experiences in drama school, the thrill of acting, and the unique connection he has with his audience. He also shares insights into his audition process for Outlander, his research on Bonnie Prince Charlie, and his favorite scenes from the show. In anticipation of Gustaffson‘s debut album ‘Black & White Movie’ produced by Elbow‘s Craig Potter – they will be finishing the year with a little UK tour at some of their favourite venues & be joined by some special guests. These gigs will support the release of their brand new singles – coming Autumn 2024!
Andrew Gower will be a guest on BBC Radio Northampton and talk with host Chance Litchfield all things Gustaffson tomorrow, 15 March 2023, at 11:40am (GMT).
Fatanstic news! Gustaffson announced on their social media today that they’re ready to release a new single. “Northern Baby”, recorded live at Blueprint Studios and mixed by Elbow‘s Craig Potter, will be available to download on 14 April 2023.
The new song will also come with a new music video directed by Corey Rid and his team at La De La Studios.
Nigel Carr from Louder Than War, a website dedicated to the pop culture wars, spoke to Andrew Gower while he was on holiday in Columbia for a friend’s wedding.
They talked about Andrew Gower‘s musical career, the music that influenced him (The Beatles) and the release of his first E.P. The Jacaranda with his band Gustaffson.
