Almost to the day 5 months after Carnival Row had to suspend filming their second season due to the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic, production is now officially back on track.

Last months production service company Stillking Films posted almost daily updates on their their Instagram account about the security measures put in place to ensure a safe return to Barrandov Studios in Prague (Czech Republic), where the popular Amazon Prime series is filmed.

Now main cast members Tamzin Merchant and David Gyasi, who play star-crossed lovers Imogen Spurnrose and Agreus Astrayon, have shared images from their return to work.

The series’ leads Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne appear to have not come back to Prague yet but this might be due to the new health and safety regulations that aims to keep the amount of people working on set at a time to an absolute minimum.

So far we can also not confirm yet that Andrew Gower, who is reprising his role as Imogen’s brother Ezra, has resumed filming but we’ll be keeping an eye out and let you know as soon as we find out.
