You

In an exclusive interview with the Daily Express, Andrew Gower confirmed his involvement in the 4th season of the Netflix series YOU. He played the character of Detective Peter Andrews, one of two police officers investigating the so-called “Eat the Rich Killer” targeting rich, young socialites in London.

YOU centres around New York bookstore manager Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley), on the outside an unassuming guy, who politely helps an elderly lady with her luggage and takes care of his neighbour’s son, when she fights with her abusive partner. On the inside his thoughts betray him and the extreme obsessions that he develops for several women throughout the series. He is willing to remove any obstacle (including murdering friends and ex-boyfriends) that might be in the way of reaching his goal to make these women fall in love with him.

After the events of Season 3, Joe is forced to flee to Europe and adopt a new identy. He is now Jonathan Moore, a professor at a London university, set to leave his “messy” part behind, start a new life and finally find “true love”.

The new trailer, released exactly a month before Part 1 of the new season hit our screens, showed that things didn’t go quite as planned on the “European holiday”: Joe found himself in the strange new role of reluctant detective in a murder mystery and seemed to have gained a stalker of his own.

The series was first broadcast on Lifetime but later moved to Netflix. Filming on the new season officially began on 21 March 2022 and wrapped on 26 August 2022 in London, where it was shot on location and on sets at Leavesden Studios.

You can find more information on YOU on Wikipedia and IMDb. More detailed information about S4 can be found here. YOU Season 4 was split in two parts which will be made available a month apart – on 9 February and 9 March 2023 – exclusively on Netflix (worldwide).
