Season 2 for Carnival Row?

carnival row

According to writer Travis Beacham, Andrew‘s upcoming series Carnival Row starring Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne, is in talks for a second season already. After all the buzz the show has already created over the past one and a half years since production was announced, this is hardly suprising and proof we are really in for a treat and Amazon Studios like the material they’ve got from season one.

Let’s just hope we’ll get to see some of that material as well soon!

With simultaneous posts on Instagram, Andrew Gower, Tamzin Merchant and Barney Douglas announced their new project today. They recently filmed short film Ark near Horndal, Sweden at the Smens Experience Retreat.

Andrew and Tamzin previously worked together on Carnival Row and Running Naked which are both scheduled to be released this year.

Not much else is known about the project yet but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out more!

Last week of filming Carnival Row

Carnival Row‘s Travis Beacham shared these two shots from the “final week on set“.

Let’s hope it really is the final “final” week of filming and we’ll soon have more news, pictures, trailers and a release date for the upcoming Amazon Prime show!

ETA:

Orlando Bloom and Travis Beacham have both confirmed via Instagram that Carnival Row has wrapped filming (again) this morning at 4am.

Andrew cast in Poldark

If we interpret Andrew’s latest Instagram post correctly, he’s filmed some scenes for the upcoming (and presumably last) season of historical period drama Poldark.

James Hadfield is an actual historical figure, a solider in the French Revolutionary Wars, who attempted to assassinate the British King George III but was acquitted of attempted murder by reason of insanity.

Sounds like a “killer” of a character for Andrew to play!

Filming of Poldark‘s 5th and final season has been underway since September 2018 and it is scheduled to be released later this year. No release date has been announced as of yet, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we find out more!

A year ago today…

A post shared by Travis Beacham (@travisbeacham) on

Travis Beacham shared this Behind the Scenes shot from the set of Carnival Row again on his Instagram today. He already shared it earlier this year on 3 April 2018 but we have it confirmed now that it shows indeed (as previously speculated) Andrew Gower on the right, with Tamzin Merchant and Cara Delevingne on the left.

According to Travis Beacham filming this scene took place at the Barrandov Studios in Prague (Czech Republic) one year ago today.
